What is the Fastest Laptop wireless internet service? I travel in my work, and I’m sick of hotels charging $10 a night for internet access, or not having internet access, or having it, ‘but it’s broken’, etc. I’m thinking of one of those plug-in devices that connect your Laptop to the internet via the cell phone network. But I want SPEED! what’s the fastest network out there for that? AT&T is just about the best you can find. It’s slow (max of about 1.5mbps), unreliable (usually more like 500kbps except off-peak), and expensive (~$60/month covers only 5GB of transfer).
It just doesn’t seem worth it.
