Okay i just hooked up internet to my wii. I know how to access weather and news. but can i access other websites like facebook?? Do i have to buy something to do that? Please help. Answers are greatly apprecitated. (:

You need the Wii internet Channel
Connect your Wii console to the internet.
Visit the Wii Shop Channel from your Wii Menu.
Go to the Channels section, and download the channel—for 0 Wii Points!

You should probably get the Internet Channel, a full internet browser powered by opera. The Opera channel is available for 0 points in the Wii Shop Channel and lets you surf the web. While certain websites may not be viewable, the majority of web pages should be visible using this browser. (You can buy purchasing points using a card purchasable at Target, or using a credit card in the Wii Shop Channel.)
