I created a new password to secure my wireless network. And i tried to log on but it wont let me.. what is wrong with it?

Try the old password again.If you can not log on with the old and new password, then you need to reset it.Good Luck.
You can’t make changes to your wireless security wirelessly.
Do this:
Turn OFF your wireless connection on your computer.
Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to your wireless router/modem.
Log in to your wireless router/modem and change the security password again. (See link below).
SAVE YOUR CHANGES.
Disconnect the Ethernet cable from your computer to your wireless router/modem.
Turn ON your wireless connection on your computer.
Scan for available networks.
Join yours using the new password.
