How do i take off the security on my computers wireless Internet so i can get on with my psp?

i have wireless Internet in my home, but it has security so when i try to get on the Internet with my psp it says security not supported, so i need to take off the security so i can get on with my psp.

    I would never recommend anyone remove the wireless security from their router. The PSP does support wireless security, but it has to be WEP and you have to use key 1.

    i accept no liability for what happens but heres the instructions:

    1:click the start button then run in the box that appears type cmd.exe

    2:in the command window shown type ipconfig look through till you find the line saying “ethernet adaptor wireless network connection:”
    take down the numbers next to default gateway, they should look like this xxx.xxx.x.x with x’s replaced with numbers now type exit and the window should close

    3:open your web browser (ie internet explorer) and type the number you jotted down into the address bar and hit enter

    4:this shld take you to your routers page and this is were you’ll need to have a look around its usually in wlan/security and there should be an option to set wireless security off
