I’m looking for one were i can monitor my students on laptops. when they use the schools wireless from they’re laptop they tend to work on there own grace, but i want to be able so i can see what they’re doing. so i can tell if there slacking off. i mean if i were just to walk around, they can just close the window. (which is the usuall occasion)

Only real way to do this would be a keylogger of the sort, which is completely illegal unless it is on your computers, as it violates privacy.
Software like this is typically expensive, and requires a client app being installed on each of the computers you wish to monitor.
An easier method of control is to use the url-blocking features included in most wireless routers html control interface
(typically http://192.168.0.1 for D-link)
here you can list the most common web sites you know students are visiting in violation of school policies.
Another choice is a service like netnanny which maintains a current list of youth-inappropriate domains and blocks access.
I’m sorry but I guess you can’t monitor it under you network their laptop and put a program like Timbukto on each student laptop. With the use of Timbukto, just connect to their laptop using the IP address and can observe what they are doing.
