Is there a wireless network monitor that will work on Windows 98SE that will connect to my WiFi?

Okay, I have a LinkSys wireless USB adapter that I am using on Windows 98SE. It is compatible with Windows 98, but for some reason, the software is having problems installing. I was wondering if I could use another program so I could view my WiFi network and connect to it. Is there any free programs that will let me select my wireless network and connect to it?

It is difficult to work with Windows 98SE since it is no longer supported by Microsoft. I suggest that you look up the USB device for the LinkSys on the web (Vendor-LinkSys) and check for their downloads or updates to see if they have an updated software patch for Win98. You can also try to contact their sight in their help section to see what they recommend. Win98 is plug and play compatible and should recognize the usb if the motherboard is a plug and play motherboard. Try looking at the network connections. If you get these links they be helpful.
