Windows Vista reading wrong wireless security WEP? It keeps asking me for this other kind of secuirty but then it doesnt work then I dignose the problem and I get this error message: “Windows could not automatically detect the correct security settings for this network” How do I get the wireless router on my windows vista to be a WEP 128 bit. It sounds like you have the security authentication set to shared. Turn it to enabled in the router.
