This might help:
http://www.belkin.com/support/kb/kb.asp?a=2806

Your "Pre-shared Key" is the password you make up (remember it!) and should be long eg. "half baked idea".

Well, your wireless network settings is seperate from the router settings that connect you to AOL.

To check your settings, go to the admin page of the router and check the security. What you need to remember is whatever settings you set on the router needs to be mirrored on your laptop. For example, if you setup the security on the router for your wireless as WPA+AES with a network key of "12345678", you need to check your laptop settings so that WPA with AES is being used and the network key is entered as 12345678.

Make sense?
