best outdoor wireless security camera with zoom?

Hi, I am looking for security cameras which I can put outside of my house, I have a big yard so i am looking for a type that can zoom in to specified places, so far the best i’ve found is this:http://www.covisec.com/product/SCC-C4307?META=bizrate-SCC-C4307 but im not sure if thats wireless, and the description leaves details out. So if somebody could please direct me to a good camera id appreciate it a lot

    That camera would be fine. The description does state that it can be used with or without wires. It uses the RS-485 standard for wireless.

    The camera you are looking at is not wireless. Download the install manual from the Samsung web site: http://www.gviss.com/Default.aspx?tabid=36

    Also keep in mind that if you want to cover your entire yard, a “zoom” camera alone probably won’t do it. What you really need is a “pan-tilt-zoom” (PTZ) camera that can move up and down and left and right as well as zoom in and out.

    Do you really need it to be wireless?? That adds complication and expense that should be avoided if possible. Also keep in mind that, even with a wireless camera, you still need to provide it with a source of power.

    When you are searching, look for “outdoor PTZ cameras”.
