I have a wireless connection and i do fine with it. you might encounter some problems but that depends on your particular connection in your house
You might encounter connection problems based on where you play your PS3. Basically the farther away the PS3 is from your modem (or whatever you use for wireless internet), then the higher chance you have of encountering connection problems or lagging in-game.
