wireless security help? so my business offers wireless to our customers that are in the bar but one of them was able to hack in to my system put some kind of software in it that allowed them in to my router. then they opened up a bunch of ports and turned me in to an adware server. i would like to still offer wireless to customers but i don’t want this person to be able to get in to my system or my router. help 3 comments to wireless security help? |

Change the user name & password for your router.

you have to change your routers username and password.
and make your system protected so that nobody can get inside . . .
Go into the setup for your wireless router and go to security (maybe different name) then, set a password, change it EVERY DAY, and when a customer comes in with their ‘puter, give them that days password.
It’s a pain in the you know what, but it will protect your system.
