Open internet explorer(or your choice of browsers), and in the address bar type in http://192.168.2.1/
On the left hand side of the webpage that appears will be a list, find and click on security
Enter your password, if you have not setup a password then leave it blank, next click on submit. If you have not setup a password then you should set one up while you are in the configuration when you have created your network password (WEP). Your router can have its own password to prevent people on your network from changing settings…
On the page that appears it will have a check box towards the center bottom of the page that says “To automatically generate hex pairs using a PassPhrase, check the box on the left and input the passphrase here”, check this box and directly under it is a place to type in a few words.
These words will generate a secure password for your network, the words are not the password. The password is about in the middle, and it is grouped in 13 spaces, 2 letters/digits per group. Write this number down and enter it into the computer that you wish to connect to the router with out spaces.
