Which channel would be best for my wifi? (read more details)?

My wifi had been having interference issues. I can’t plug in, so it matters. I got Vistumbler, and it shows that mine is on channel 11 (100% signal atm), there’s another on 11 (18% signal), another on 6 (36% signal), a dead linksys on 6 (0% signal, might change, not sure), another on 1 (24% signal), a dead one on 10 [why 10? really!] (0% signal, again, not sure if this changes), and another on 1 (48% signal).
I JUST got the program, so I’ve only looked while my wifi was working, so I’m not sure what changed yet. I’ll update this if I figure out what changes. I was just wondering what channel would be best for me, since I sometimes have to reset mine a couple times a day due to it getting messed up and it’s really annoying.
still working- but found another dead one on 9 (0%)
ans still working, found another dead (0%) on channel 11,
Guy #1: Nice idea. I checked (in all of the settings like everywhere) and don’t seem to be able to have it auto configure it. It’s verizon if that helps. I just have the typical US channels 1-11. No auto :(

Check to see if your router supports an automatic channel configuration. That way you don’t run in to this problem. When the other signals reach a certain strength, your router automatically changes the channel. Most routers support this, check your manuals and check for firmware updates.
