i use WiFi now but some of my programs, when they check for updates, they prefer the DSL connection.

if u want yo u could disable the dsl connection rite click the dsl in network connections and then click disable
If you disable the DSL connection in the control panel –> network connections then all programs will have to use the wifi connection (hope you are asking about a Windows system).
