My work lap top often picks up wifi signals, but, is not programed for some hotel internet.? I would like to know, if there is something I can do, to solve this? It is a dell. I review medical charts, so it is definitely hippa oriented, but it is very agravating, when you are in a strange city, and need to drive all over town looking for a wireless signal, cause your lap top thinks the hotel internet is intruding. Is there an adapter of sort I can get? By “intruding” I assume it thinks is an attack. Well set up your protection. MAny hotels display ads on their “wireless home page” so maybe those are considered intruders by the virus protection software.
