Hey I bought a WiFi USB Adaptor or connector, whatever one it is, and the installation disk was just plain dumb. It didn’t install the program for me and I had to go through the whole disk, installing the ‘setup.exe’ stuff. and some of the programs couldn’t even get onto my computer, Windows Vista 32-bit. I tried out the program, and after a few minutes, I could connect to my Nintendo DS. I got error 52101 though, which is that I got into the access point but I couldn’t connect into the server.
So, I checked my station that gives me the Link Quality, Signal strength and Noise strength. My link quality is 80-95% usually, my signal strength is always around -65 dBm, BUT my noise strength seems like the lowest, -107 dBm, which is 0%. Is it supposed to be like that? And how can i raise it higher?
I have no router, I DON’T want one, I DON’T wanna buy another adapter, and I need answers. Help! Thanks. Ask questions if you need to.

I think you might get more answers if you actually stated what you were trying to do. From what I can gather you are trying to share your Internet connection wirelessly via your PC. However, I can’t be sure this is what your trying to do and I’m rather confused because you talk about connecting ‘to’ your Nintendo DS. I would think that if you were trying to do what I have just described you would want to connect from your Nintendo DS ‘to’ your PC. Also, I’m not sure why your checking signal strength and stuff at this point. I would normally only go down that route if I had tried fiddling with the networking settings or I was having intermittent connectivity issues.
I don’t see any immediate reason why you can’t do this. I would recommend using the installation disk but you need to be aware that the software on that is probably not going to help you. All you need from the disk is the drivers for the adapter.
In XP there is an option to ‘setup a small home or office network’. If there is a similar option in Vista I would start here. Note down clearly what you configure and if you have problems try discussing the issues on a windows networking forum.
Apologies if this does not answer your question but it is unclear to me exactly what you are trying to achieve so I have had to speculate over this.
