I have 2 computers, a Linux, and a Microsoft. So here’s my story. My wifi was working fine with my ds, but doesn’t work with my wii. So, I un-installed it, and then downloaded the latest version of the program onto my computer. I clicked setup and all that and then it comes to ‘setting up internet connection sharing’. After a few seconds, a message pops up and says ‘INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING ERROR (6)’!!!!!!!! I have been stuck with no wifi for the last 3 months…and I can’t find any good info when I google it. I need to know how to fix this!!!!
ACTUALLY, I just fixed it! Wow, was I happy! Ok, you don’t have to send any anwsers anymore! All you have to do is disable ‘internet connection sharing’ for all of the…uh…things in that network folder. Aw man, I answered my own question…
It sounds like a defective router. You might want to get a new one or if the one is under warranty, call the manufacturer.
u should plug the use for the wii in ur Microsoft and the ds in ur Linux if it does not work then u should go in ur internet settings in ur computer or try to connect to wifi with ur usb and see if it has ur name on the computer make sure it has 3 bars
