What kind of USB cable do I need to hook up a Linksys 802.11b 2.4 GHz Wireless USB adapter to my pc? I just bought one on ebay but it didn’t come with a usb cable so I need to make sure I buy the right one. I am hooking it up to an emachines desktop computer.  I am interested in buying a wireless router for at home,but i work out of town and need to access the internet away from home.There are no really good signals that i can connect to at my job.  I ask this because I know that a wireless g receiver can read b because they are both on a 2.4ghz frequency. A step by step would be great. Thanks in advance. If a AP is operating in a 802.11n mode if the wifi has to support 11b station does it need to just support the in 11b rate or it has to operate in 11b mode?
