I am looking into getting a new laptop. I am comparing two models, one says “Wireless 802.11a/b/g/n ” and the other says “Wireless 802.11b/g.” What do these things mean, what do they do, and which is better? The models I am looking at are: HP Pavilion DV6751US and HP Pavilion dv9812us. Thank you. In my specs it shows that i have IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g . I know that G is faster, but how do I have both of them, and how can I change it from either b to G? is it possible to send wifi signals from laptop to mobile phones.? i have a laptop which have Intel® Wireless 802.11a/b/g wifi .. is it possible to send wifi signals from this wifi to other divices …….. if yes then how……. Also, I have a destop pc that does not have wireless but is connecting to the Wireless-g rooter through a usb cable. Does the Wireless-N rooter also have this option? I need a laptop with also i have around 500 dollars or more to spend on it. So does that mean it is built in with the 802.11b/g wireless card? I have a wireless Router From Netgear, Model# WGU624 and my XBOX 360 has the wireless game adapter attached to the back of the 360. My signal strength is pretty low, but I only have one wall in the way, so it shouldn’t be losing strength from that.
