The more modern smart phones/cell phones today such as the Apple iPhone, RIM Blackberrys, HTC Smartphones, Nokia Smartphones, Samsung Smartphones and many others brands now have internet radio capability, be it via WiFi or via data streaming from the cell phone service providers network. However, I cannot seem to find a radio station that streams live broadcasts of sports games, be it NHL, MLB or other major sports leagues. Does anyone know of an internet radio station that broadcasts live hockey games, preferably games of the Toronto Maple Leafs?

I know about half of the smart phones today also have FM radio capability. However, most North American cities have news, talk, sports on AM and music on FM. However, most smart phones today offer only internet radio or internet radio + FM radio only. Here are some examples of the radio stations that broadcast live sporting events:

HOCKEY
640 AM – Toronto Maple Leafs
800 AM – Montreal Canadiens
1040 AM – Vancouver Canucks
1050 AM – New York Rangers
720 AM – Chicago Blackhawks
98.5 FM – Boston Bruins
1200 AM – Ottawa Senators
630 AM – Edmonton Oilers
960 AM – Calgary Flames

BASEBALL
880 AM – New York Yankees
720 AM – Chicago Cubs
680 AM – San Francisco Giants
590 AM – Toronto Blue Jays
1500 AM – Washington Nationals
850 AM – Boston Red Sox
1080 AM – Texas Rangers (Dallas)
740 AM – Houston Astros
710 AM – Seattle Mariners
790 AM – Los Angeles Dodgers

As you can see, as of 2010, most live sports broadcasts are done on the AM radio band. Most smartphones get internet radio or internet radio + FM radio. How can I listen to live sports on internet radio via my smart phone?
Thank you for the webcast site but a lot of smart phone web browsers aren’t able to handle the hockey webcasts website. I also know XM radio has the games but I am looking for a free internet radio station.

The webcast site is great is you are listening to the game on your computer while working though :)
Thanks for the information on the NHL teams contract with XM Sirius satellite radio preventing NHL games from being broadcast live on internet radio.

I know Sony Ericcson has made cell phones with both AM & FM radio capability like the Sony Ericcson Music R300. Too bad none of the smart phones today, made by any of the manufacturers have AM radio capability built in.

i have heard alot of news, and leaks, they all are said to have very credible sources. Yet few of them seem to support each other. i’ve heard some saying there will be an iphone 4ish design, some saying same old chrome, some saying front facing camera, some say rear facing camera, some say both, others say neither, One even states that it will be announced next monday. Which of all these do you think are true, what do you think will be on the itouch 4g. retina, A4, longer battery, Front camera, rear camera, facetime, smaller screen, radio tuner, larger screen, same chrome back, new redesign (explain), ipad like back, HD recording, still picture only, wireless N wifi, 128GB, expandable memory, optional 3g data plans, built in microphone, Flash (for camera), wireless syncing, better external speakers, gyroscope, compass, GPS, more colors, new software options (such as how the 3rd gen got voice recording), or others
I think it will have front and rear facing cameras, facetime (using email addresses), gyroscope, HD recording, and retina display.
I also hope it has a new redesign
How much do you think the ipod touch 4G’s will cost

I was on safari on my itouch and i was going to look at some old celeb news and photos. I saw this website on google, I opened it, and it started to load really slowly. I had full connection to wifi. 3 bars! Then it started to load really slowly. the loading circle became really slow. I thought my itouch was frozen. I kept on pressing the power button, nothing. Then I hooked it up to itunes on my computer. It wasn’t syncing or anything. I unpluged it and my itouch shut down. I pressed power and the apple appeared. It took a little( or was just all that panic?) and everything seemed fine. I opened safari and it just returned to google.
–
People said that when you have a virus on your itouch, some popu-up will appear. Nothing appeared on my itouch. I’m freaking out!!

Do I have a virus?
Then it started to load really slowly.
–
I actually meant that it loaded even slower.

i am very desperate about this. my laptop is an Hp Presario 3000 and for a week now i can’t seem to be able to use mozilla and internet explorer although i can use the yahoo messenger.

i am connected via wifi. and i dont think it’s a router problem because my brother has the exact version of laptop as mine – exactly, and his works normally and i checked the settings of our laptop it’s just the same.

i have tried to:
1) uninstall and install mozilla again – DIDN’T WORK
2) i checked the internet protocol – AUTOMATIC DETECT (CHECKED) – still, no internet
3) i tried system restore – DIDN’T WORK
4) i tried to do this (from a site i saw..)
cdm
ipconfig/all
ipconfig/flushdns ( 5) i cleared my dns! — DIDN’T WORK!
ipconfig/renew
ping news.google.com (this replied to me — therefore, according to the site, i have internet connection) [it also said (in the site) that if this replies this should be my last step so i refreshed the mozilla, still nothing! so i went on to the last step]
ping 74.125.19.104 (then it said, if this replies i have internet connection but no DNS and i cannot type name to get to websites (whatever that means!) and I DID GET A REPLY. SO PLEASE HELP ME :|

Okay, after you download the Nintendo Dsi Browser, can you get on websites (like for example, Club penguin) and interact with the website, or are they just websites (like CNN with the news and stuff like that) that you can only read and look over? Can you press buttons and stuff on the websites and stuff like a normal computer with internet? I’m getting a Nintendo Dsi for Christmas (I think) and I just really want to know! Cause I just don’t want to read stuff online, I wanna play games and stuff, like I already do! I have never had the online wifi with my Nintendo Ds Lite so I don’t really know how it works. Can someone explain this to me? All answers appreciated! Thanks!

This person works in a home office setup, creating antennas , setting up radio equipments, wifi, wimax , remote viewers (remote camera viewing), etc. He has all these gadgets which can monitor and tamper with neighbor’s communication, etc. He works with guys who are in the same field, are in media, telecoms, etc. His wife is a snoop who loves to know what’s going on around the neighborhood.

He admits that he’s a control freak who wants to be in control of situations.

He has taken interest in a neighborhood girl who has always been so quiet and who doesn’t mingle a lot with them (the girl knows what they’re doing and is averse to some of the guys in the groups, most probably due to the guys’ perverse ways).

He has been monitoring all communication that goes to and from the girl’s phone and have been stopping people from communicating with her and have even been tampering with exchanges to ensure he can isolate the girl from everyone.

He has been doing this for sevral years now and this has already been an accepted practice in the community whose daily fare is a dose of gossip from the husband and wife tandem. Hubby, the resource person, wifey, the spreader of ‘good news’.

How can this stop?
This has gone larger than the neighborhood story.

They have made this a Big Brother type of business spree, a boys’ club thingie, involving their friends in the media, and they claim they’re protected by higher authorities, pillars in the judicial, defense and security system.

Hi, thanks for clicking on this question.

My Nintendo DS broke one of its hinges, the thing that connects the screen to the other part (controls touch screen ect.)

http://www.dvdexchange-online.co.uk/Game_News/Consoles/Nintendo_DS/Nintendo_DS.jpg

The right hinge broke.
Whenever I try to go on MarioKart DS, It won’t let me do WiFi connection, and I can’t see the top screen while playing. This also happens with all of my games, including nintendogs.

I don’t have a warranty, so I don’t think nintendo will fix it, plus I have the old fashion kind (The kind they first came out with) not the ‘new’ lite version

So please, if you have any suggestions on what do to do, tell me. I will pick best answer. Thanks again!! :D
had it for few years. I think the warranty is up.
Brandon – Just call the number at the back of the DS, or go to gamestop, so they can repair.

1.Is it true that you can just plug up a Wifi connector and get right on the internet?

2.It does play Blue Ray Disk, right?

3.I’ve heard that it cannot play PS and PS2 games, true?

4.Anyone heard about a fatal error that PS3s supposedly have? (heard about it on aol news but they tend to have a lot of untrue and exaggerated stories)

I keep getting the error code 80710102, which to the best of my knowledge is to do with an IP conflict.

First off, let me say that I am quite knowledgeable about Routers, Wifi, Modems, IP settings etc. I used to do it for a living. So I know it isnt something to do with that, and if it is, then its news to me.

The basic problem is that I cant sign into the playstation network. Sometimes it will take several attempts, sometimes it will sign in on its own ok. Sometimes I get logged out.

Ive followed all the usual lines of enquiry, but no luck. Something that I noticed that was very strange was that, even thought I couldnt log in, and kept getting the DNS error 80710102, I was still able to download something that I had started downloading a few hours earlier before I lost connection.

Something else to note is that when I am online, Avatars seem to take forever to load, on dont load at all. But Im still able to download a 300 mb file in about 10 mins. (about normal for me).

Also, I have 2 laptops, and 1 PC connected to the network, and I have had no trouble with these, so Im very certain that its not and ISP or mode/router issue.

Many thanks in advance. Please save me from the bane of my life.

I just got enough money for a 16gb ipod touch 2g, however, now, I am in a dilemma. I was looking on ebay and it looks like they’re selling used 1g iphones (8gb) for $300 or less. So now I’m now sure what to get, what would be better a brand new 2g ipod touch, or used 8gb iphone 1g?

For me having a cell phone and ipod touch with me at the same time is not that bad, but the only thing that I really hate about the itouch is that you can only go to the internet through wifi, with the iphone you can go on the internet anywhere there is a signal. So if anyone could please comment as to how edge is on the iphone (I plan to unlock it and use it on Tmobile, so I don’t think getting the 3g iphone would be much of an advantage unless once Tmobile deploys 3g it would compatible) and if you can casually use it to watch videos from places like youtube or read the news without having to wait 5 minutes for it to load.

Thanks for the replies

well i have got some news about this credit card scam….this is how it began….first they purchased a credit card number from internet…(is there any way to but hacked credit card number online? coz i googled but i dint get any site related)… then they moved to a big city near by and hacked a wifi…from that account they ordered electronics items and clothes but not the mobile phones so we cant trace it…they were pretty sharp that they got delievery in just one or two hours…so even before the credit card holder could react they were gone….how to beat this?
nah cant catch from the delivery details coz they sent the package to a closed house and a man was standing outside so cant trace from delivery site and its useless to call electronics company coz laptops are not traceable like cell phones…
yea probably you could do that if you get some time….they call the shop purchase and get delivery in like an hour or something without any hassle then what can be the reaction time……you cant watch that empty house in advance coz u dont know thats gonna happen…so even this wont pick it…

I am a 34 year old single guy and I live in an apartment. Yesterday, I arrived home from work just in time to greet my brand new next door neighbor who turns out to be a 67 year old retired lady. She was standing in our shared screen in porch. I introduced myself, said hello, and offered her my future help to move boxes or anything else she might need. As I went to walk inside my home she put her head down and said “wait”. I paused as she began to tell me that what she would really like is my company for the evening watching tv because she is so lonely. I was a little surprised by her request & honestly it was the last thing I felt like doing. I didn’t have time to think of an excuse when the words “sure no problem” came out of my mouth.

She then invited me into her apartment to meet her dogs and put a couple things away. She offered me a seat on the only char she had set up in her place. I began to look around and I noticed her TV was on the floor and she began to tell me that her service would not be hooked up for a week. Thats when it hit me that the invitation to watch tv was not at her place but mine.

After all her stuff was put away she said lets go to your place and watch the news. So I said sure :/ … Good thing my home was semi clean for I was not expecting guests. So we went to my place and I put on the tv for her and just sat there and watched making small talk. She then asked me what I did for internet service. I said I had cable with wifi. She then asked me if we could share service and slip me half the $32 monthly bill under the door every month.. I don’t even know her and she wants me to be responsible for her internet bill…. She then asked me if she could use my microwave and cell phone. I understand the phone and the microwave for someone that is living out of boxes and moving but then she kept insisting how great it would be to share the web so she could “hook up her magic jack and not have to borrow my phone often”.

Ok so what do you guys think??
