I don’t know if its possible but I used to have a laptop and I sold it but kept this card. I need to hook it up to a desktop but don’t know how. I need help because i’m moving and my apartment comes with wireless. All i have though is a desktop. Is it [...] My school suggests getting the Linksys WRT54G to use in the dorms, but I’ve noticed on various websites that the Linksys WRT54G has Wireless-G capabilities with little or no mention of Wireless-B. My laptop has a 802.11b wireless card, so does anyone know whether my wireless card will work with the router? (I don’t know [...] I have a Belkin WURE repeater with a D-Link high-gain omnidirectional antenna. I’d like to set this up so I can connect back to MY network (printers, internet, file-sharing) when I’m over at the neighbor’s house (probably 500-1000 feet) visiting…quite often since I’ve been building a nature trail with them. Maybe even use [...] example, the nokia n80 internet edition. it only has 802.11g wifi. is 802.11b wifi a big loss to n80 internet edition? 802.11a In my specs it shows that i have IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g . I know that G is faster, but how do I have both of them, and how can I change it from either b to G? I have an 802.11b usb modem thing and I have a router that is “…”g. If I set it to “run” at only 802.11b will it change the performance? Like what I want to know is if because the router is running at two speeds does that slow down overall performance? I bought this on ebay and ofcourse it did not come with a disk. My computer can’t pick it up automatically. Does anyone know where I can download this driver? It’s a IEEE 802.11b DSSS high speed standard wireless network adapter. I am buying a baby video monitor and it says it could have Wifi interference. Im thinking it has to do with my phone but how do I know if it would have this problem? Thanks again. i need to go to connect to the internet. xbox live. also; are there any handhelds out there with wi-fi for around $100? I have a linksys wireless g router, can i hook up my other desktop with a 802.11b adapter? My router have the option to have one or another. |
