Is there a real difference between the two on a notebook computer? If I were to buy a laptop with an internal wireless connectivity rating of 802.11a/g, would I be able to replace it with n? If so, how much might this cost? I already have an existing 802.11g wireless network. Is there a way to upgrade without having to buy a 802.11n wireless network? I need to cover an area of about 1 sq mile with 802.11n WiFi. Can this be accomplished with an amplifier? Or do I need more than one router? Can someone give me some advice? Thanks.
