Before I replace my old PSU (Power Supply Unit), according to the information displayed in Windows, my Wireless signal always detected in range from “Low” to “Very [...] Hi, I have a HP Pavilion dv6, and I am in need of something like vmware, but I need it to be able to pick up and use built-in WiFi adapters unlike VMWare the ONLY picked up and used USB Wifi adapters. Does anyone know a program like that? If so, can I have a link please? Are USB Wireless Adapters just as fast as a PCI wireless card? I’m asking because I need to replace my PCI wireless card and might consider getting a USB wireless adapter if it indeed is just as fast! Any recommended ones? I just installed a wireless network adapter to my desktop and i have noticed it has decreased in internet speed. My adapter is 802.11G 54MBPS, will buying a different brand make it any faster? The laptop I installed ubuntu on is rather old and without wifi. I do not have the technological know how to put a wifi card inside the machine, but I do know how to put a pcmcia card in. Are there any pcmcia wifi adapters that will FOR SURE work with ubuntu? much appreciated! I purchase a ViewSonic 802.11b airSync USB Wireless LAN Adapter. It came with a USB cable, but no drivers. I need drivers for same. I need one for my desktop that doesn’t have wireless capabilities. Will it work, are they fast, etc? I am trying to transfer data between my laptop (OS XP Professional SP2, Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM) and my desktop (Vista Ultimate, Intel Quad Core 2.4 GHz, 3GB RAM) using wireless communication since I don’t have adequate cables. I have a Belkin N Wireless, and an AT&T 2Wire, is it possible to connect them both to my computer at the same time and connect to the same wireless router for faster internet? What about connecting them to two separate routers? Are USB Wireless Adapters just as fast as a PCI wireless card? All my computers have wireless G adapters. If I replace my current wireless G router with a wireless N router, will I have an increased range or is this feature only available to wireless N adapters? Thanks! |
