I have no experience in the security field, but I was thinking we’d build a medium quality computer, to be on our wireless network, and hoping there’s wireless cameras out there, that can sent a signal to our wireless network, that all our computers could pick up and display.

I recently bought a small wireless camera and receiver but the receiver was damaged, I was thinking that since my laptop has WiFi that perhaps it might be able to work on the 2.4GHz band and work like a receiver. I guess that would require a program to display the signal data, much like a tv emulator. Has anyone seen a program that might enable this? I’ve had a look around but I can’t seem to find much at all! :) Thanks in advance!

P.S. If 2.4GHz isn’t possible, out of curiosity, does anyone know if any other camera frequencies might be possible?
