i have a dektop cp that if i format my flash drive with software i can plug it into laptops and get wifi from my desktop. can i somehow use the itouch as if it were a flash drive to get wifi around my house?

I’m taking my desktop on vaca to a beach house. My friend and I want to play online games. The house has free wireless internet. What hardware/software do I need to make my desktop access the wifi internet? My desktop PC will sometimes lose the connection to my WIFI router.
