i need a wirless access point. so do i connect it to the black box that time warner gave me or to my computer. which do i connect it too? At the moment my ethernet connection is 100 mbps from what the status window says on my network connections. And my $20 wireless adapter is 54 mbps. My question is if I get a Rosewill RNX-N2X (which says to have 300 mbps along with comments saying they get 270 mbps), will its mbps [...] i want to play halo but my internet with the wireless isn’t fast enough. just wondering if it would be worth it to buy a 40′ cord. I’m getting an XBox 360, and I was wondering about internet. It says it comes with an ethernet cable [which I assume I can use directly to play online (please correct me if I'm wrong)]. On the other hand, my friend is offering me is old XBox (not 360, the first) wireless network card. I [...] my frames per second is higher when i use my wireless internet than my cable? i thought using a cable is faster. they are both form the sam isp. and when i tested upload and download speed they were the same or would be literally 0.01 apart. i tested more than once I can see that with my Wireless PCI Card, it picks up network file speed 54 MBPS, but on Ethernet Cord, it picks up on 100 MBPS. Which device will give you faster download and upload speed? I have a lot of trouble staying connected through wireless internet, it’s either not that fast and it’s always getting disconnected. But if i use an ethernet cable the internet is super fast. I have a wireless network, would a cable be faster or slow it down? i need one that supports 802.11g and is compatible with xbox live i know toshiba has a program called configfree Or does it mean i can boot it up and get it set up and then get online? A step by step would be great. Thanks in advance. If you run and operate a business or academic center that relies on an Internet connection then you are no doubt concerned with the overall speed of your Internet. All major corporations and business settings must have a high speed connection from which their network operates in order to carry out their business with efficiency [...] One thing to keep in mind about the telecom world is that everything is negotiable. Thousands of carriers out there want your business, so if you are planning on spending $100,000 in usage every month, you can probably deal with the carrier to get the installation fees, as well as the small monthly recurring charges [...] If you are looking for High-Speed Internet and low cost, than Ethernet is for you. Ethernet was developed around the 1970s by Xerox Corporation by an experimental coaxial cable network to transmit data up to 3 Mbps. That experiment brought upon some attention and led to faster speeds in the 1980s of up to 10 [...] Recently I connected my Laptop & my PC via a straight ethernet cable. I used the ip adress 192.168.1.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, default gateway 192.168.1.3 for my PC & 192.168.1.3, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, default gateway 192.168.1.2 for my Laptop. At first when I need to backup my data to PC, Both system behaved well connected [...] The reason businesses use T1 lines vs. Ethernet (Fast, Metro or Gigabit) is because of the differences between these two services. Fast Ethernet refers to the internal network traffic whereas a T1 line is an external to internal network connection. While it may be true that many companies are offering options like fiber to the [...] |
