What good is it to have an IPod Touch with unlimited wifi access, when you can’t use the phone option anytime?

If you were stranded in the middle of nowhere, with your iPod Touch that has unlimited wifi access. What good would it be to have unlimited wifi access when you can’t get to a hotspot to make that life-saving call?! Just wishing that these companies stop being so cheap (apple) and make the iPod Touch’s with a built in data plan! I have been a fan of the iPods’ since their first unveiling of the click wheel the (older model) in July of 2004′. I recently was doing my routine email reading and came across news that Apple has released the new iPod Touch with 2 Cameras and HD video recording, excited I was until I started to do some research on this advanced little trinket. What I came across was the fact that this iPod comes with unlimited wifi access with the purchase of the so called free hotspot access plan. Anyhoo I was thinking that having to pay for wifi access is insane especially when this wifi access isn’t free outside of hotspots! Emergencies happen anytime, too bad they don’t only happen when u r connected to a wireless hotspot! Apple stop being misers and start being smart about ur products in the future, the future depends on it! ;)

I want a fast laptop (fast startup, shutdown, and program opening) that can also do fairly well with games (far cry, half life 2, maybe even fear) not the newest stuff but games around that generation.
