i have a dektop cp that if i format my flash drive with software i can plug it into laptops and get wifi from my desktop. can i somehow use the itouch as if it were a flash drive to get wifi around my house?

My iTouch’s MAC address does not seem to be written down on the unit, in the little pperwork that accompanied it, nor do I see it anywhere in the software, including the Wireless Network settings!
