Is it possible to get caught using a laptop at a public location which has free wifi, downloading music with a program such as limewire? i use my laptop a lot at college, and i’m always on the internet for research. i wanted to know how to make it so no one can access information on my laptop or hack into it. i have an antivirus program installed, but is there a way i can prevent someone getting on altogether? [...] Or if he is using a torrent program? If he/she is downloading for a long period of time?
