I have a Wireless G router now, I hear Wireless N is the faster choice. My wireless card in my laptop is Wireless G, I think they will work together, but without a wireless N card, will buying the N router speed anything up for me AT ALL, or would I have to buy [...] the formula for 802.11g is and the formula for 802.11n is how do we enter the values so that the first formula gives us [...] If I am using a 802.11g router and I have a 100MB File what should my transfer rate be in MBps? If the Max transfer rate of wireless g is 54Mbps. Would that convert to 6.75 MBps? When I am transferring files in Vista it is telling me that my transfer rate is only 1.75MB/sec. [...] |
