How To Increase Wifi Signal Reception on Laptop and others? internet have lots of videos.. can you help with info or videos ? My wireless Internet source is actually someone elses wireless router, so I can’t exactly alter the router. but if there’s something I could use for the comuter that wouldn’t void the warrenty, that would be better. Hi I have a sony VAIO laptop VGN ns325 with an Atheros ar9286 Wireless network adaptor (running Vista) I am not getting good reception in various areas where there is open wifi available… any suggestions to boost performance or is there a better, faster, stronger wifi card I can install in my laptop? My Router is a Netcomm NB9W i have tried an antanna that screws into the antanna socket but it did not make much of a difference. My router is situated down stairs and i generaly use the internet on my laptop up stairs. Any Ideas?? I already have a booster on my wireless b router. Can I boost the signal more?? |
