I still show an excellent connection between my PC and router. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software for my USB WIFI adapter on my PC.

The router is a Linksys WRT54GC and it’s been updated to the latest firmware. My PC connects to the router via a Linksys WUSB54G using the latest firmware.

I have another laptop that connects wirelessly to the same router but I experience zero issues. I think this eliminates the router being bad.

My PC is an old HP running WXP SP2 loaded with the latest security updates and patches. Ad-aware loaded with the latest build.

Help?
I forgot to mention, once the connection drops if I wait 5 – 10 min the connection will restore itself as if nothing happened.
