This was recorded before the project started. In this video I am playing with my wireless connection to try to invoke a WPA/WPA2 handshake by de-authenticating myself! This is odd, but it worked. DD-WRTv24 had ash, tcpdump, and the Aircrack Suite. Check out my website for the full PDF report! weaknetlabs.com

802.11g+
802.11b
802.11a
Are they supposed to be better than the next if so which is the best
1. Who is the vendor?
2. What 802.11 standard does the device support? (a, b, g, or n)
3. Is the device a wireless/wired combination or pure wireless?
4. Does the device support wireless security features? If so, which ones?
5. How [...]
I have been seeing a lot of those in ads lately, about faster than 802.11g routers, called 802.11n, but apparently they are not going to finalize the standard until Nov 2009, so they are called draft N. So is it OK to buy them then?
In other words, even though 802.11b is an older standard, is it still faster than the cable modem internet connection it would hook up to?
I currently use a Linksys Wireless G broadband router with up to 54mbps and up to 2.4ghz. I was thinking of installing the Apple Airport Express (802.11n). Will I really notice a difference? My computer catches the current signal very well a few rooms away from the router, but I was wondering [...]
ive searched the question and people kept says the speed. But i dont understand that because the speed comes from the type of internet you have? How can the router make it go faster? let say my internet is 8.0mb/s of download speed and my router is a wireless G, will the router make my [...]
I just recently go a Linksys wireless router, and the instructions told me to hook it up to my modem. Problem is, I don’t have a modem, or maybe it is built in. I know my internet is fast enough (it’s wireless, 100 mbps). What do I do?
I have a linksys wr54g router, and after the firmware upgrade I can no longer access my WPA information
I have WPA and i need to change it to WEP. How would I change it and if I did, would it do anything to mess up my router of any other systems I have?
Thank you!
