Most of the Internet enabled items in my house accept WPA2 security, but two of them – an xbox and an old laptop only take WEP. My new netbook only reads WPA/WPA2. Can I use 2 routers to have 2 security broadcasts?
Or do I have to purchase a new router? If it does work, will my laptop with 802.11n be able to pick up signals better than my laptop with a 892.11g wireless card.

I am upgrading from a 802.11b router and I need something faster and with a bit more range (I’m considering range extenders), but the real question is whether the pre-n routers are worth the significant extra cost for a technology that is supposedly not ready yet.
