Can anyone teach me how to block sites by using Hosts File in Win XP? I have WiMAX connection. The information about my net connect is the following: Device Type : Canopy Lite – 5.7GHz – Subscriber Module – 0a-00-3e-fa-81-fc When I switch to wireless internet a few sites like Google will work, but the average website won’t. It gets to the background at most and stops. Google works very fast. I have another laptop using this wireless and it works fine. I got a refurbushed laptop and returned it because of same problem. I need as many as i can! Do you have any suggestions? & can you play games on the internet? Can you go on normal websites? Help? How do I even get on the internet? All I have is the weather and news channel, but my wifi internet is hooked up, so e-mail and all works. |
