 I bought an hp all-in-one (printer/scanner/fac/copier) and use the ADF to scan a stack of images at a time. I’m scanning at 600dpi and it seems quite slow. I use to use my traditional flatbed scanner, which connected with USB and it seems faster… So is wireless scanning (where it sends the scans to your pc [...] When my laptop is plugged into the internet directly at home it runs slowly and sporadically, but when i’m at school it runs very fast with the wireless connection. My desktop runs fast with the home connection so I know the connection is not the problem. My housemate has the new (in Canada at least) 100mbps internet… It’s the fastest wireless I have used and I always get 5 bars, but…. it’s slower than my wired 54mbps internet back home (for streaming live TV, movies, videos, etc…) Why is that? How slow will my internet be when i get wireless after using wired for about 2 years now that has a download speeds of .75 and upload is like .14? The fastest file transfer speed I could get is ~1 MBPS. However when I do an internet speedtest on a wireless computer, I get ~10MBPS. Is there a way to make my wireless transfers faster?
