 I have a d-link ~n router, i am sharing my internet over a wireless connection with my brother. I have Cable internet, which is usually fast, unless he is connected at the same time. It drags down my ability for speed. Can you set how much of the resources he uses? Like 60/40 split, so [...] I am going to get a wimax internet connection. But he provider package limit 10/15GB. What does it mean. Is it the browsing limit or download limit. I download a lot of movies. But if 10GB download limit than i can download only a few movie per month. Please help me to find out what [...] i would like to know what is fair usage threshold means. it says 5GB and download speed is 800kbps for example, something that will inform you if someone unauthorized is connecting to your wifi? my router is a cheap TrendNet device TQ On average, how many users can ‘effectively’ access one WAP with the 802.11g versus the 802.11n? |
