 I live in an apartment complex with free wireless internet. Direct downloads from web pages are fast, however when i use limewire or bit comet downloads are very slow and the programs take alot of time to connect. Direct downloads from web pages download up to 600kb/s but using these programs they barely even download. [...]  I was just curious, I may be changing high speed internet. When I turn my router in and it is reused can that person get any of my personal info from the router. Bank info? Passwords? or is it wiped clean when it is powered off?? My husband came home and said this woman he works with said she uses her Motorola Razr as a wireless modem and it works faster than her satellite modem.She has a lap top. She also said it cost her 20.00 a month for internet this way. Personally I think it sounds crazy. I cannot even [...]  i need advice i want to buy a net gear router for my 360 to use wirelessly. i hate the wires. What can I do to him? are there any laws that prohibited that?
