I’ve heard that having both the wireless enabled while connected to LAN on a laptop can cause Windows XP to get confused and drop connections. Is this true?
And also, let’s say if I enable wireless on my laptop and then connect to a wire, will it automatically default to the (faster) wired connection speed, or [...]
I have two computers on my home network, a desktop that is connected to the router by ethernet cable, and a laptop that is connected to the router wirelessly. The Internet is faster on the laptop. Why is that so, since both use the same modem?
i have a wireless router i jsut want to know if its faster to connect via wi-fi or on Lan on the router?/
so there is no difference if i connect wifi or lan to internet?
Or are they still a little slower? I have an 802.11g router and I play my PS3 wirelessly but I’m wondering it I’d get better speeds using a cable.
I am planning to get the game bundle for my kids for christmas, and having second thoughts about the wireless one. Does the wireless go through batteries very fast and how well does it stay connected while playing? Also will the guitar hero 3 work with the guitar hero2 game?
